Course Description

This survey class focuses on the critical evaluation of literature by writers of the African Diaspora produced in the Americas from the 18th century to the present and the contexts in which they were produced. Genres studied may include fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, and autobiography. (Spring offering) 3 lecture hours
